Teague, Mexia, Rock Island & Gulf Online The GP40-2LWs
 GP40-2LW 670 with loaded rock train passes thur Taylor, Texas on the UP ex-MKT.
The GP40-2LWs were purchased in August of 1995 to replace the GP9Es 2051, 2052 and 2053 and GP35 850 and 851. The GP35 eventually became road slugs.
The TMRI has repainted all of the five GP40-2LW's into TMRI Red & Yellow colors.
