canvas, sprung inter-car barrier as provided on 1972 Tube Stock. These barriers have
appeared on all LU rolling stock during the last few years following a number of cases of
persons falling between cars. Of course the people concerned were usually drunk,
drugged or just fooling around. It just goes to show how much money has to be spent
by public transport to prevent stupid people from injuring themselves.
