| The modifications to this
locomotive were designed by Dr. P. Le Seur who
had previously assisted David Wardale with the
design and testing of #3450. The modifications
were intended to provide increased performance
without being as extensive as those applied to
the Red Devil. #3454 features dual exhaust
stacks, placed transversely in the smokebox, as
clearly shown in this photo. |
