The A1 Trust http://www.a1steam.com	Group is building a new Peppercorn A-1 class 4-6-2 Tornado.

Didcot Railway Centre- http://www.didcotrailwaycentre.org.uk/drcproj.htm	Not a new locomotive, but modification to an existing one. Interestingly, this might be considered a "de-modernization" as they are converting it back to an earlier configuration!
