When we built a new family room on our home, we had the wisdom to include a basement underneath. While we could have built a very large HO railroad in the space, we decided that it would overwhelm us. O scale would fill the room much more quickly and be that much easier on our rapidly fading eyesight. We've always had an inclination towards electrrics, and a simple display railroad seemed a good way to get our feet wet.. Please follow this link to see the trackplan.
