"John C. Broadhead"

The first locomotives of the Ulster & Delaware were acquired in 1869 by the U&D predecessor, the Rondout and Oswego Railroad. All were named after directors of the railroad except the Pennsylvania, which was the first locomotive on the line. All eight of these locomotives had the appearance of the locomotives used in the Civil War era. They served up until the 1890s.
