Station Improvement:
Amtrak service to Dwight began on October 27, 1986.  Thirty years to the day, on October 27, 2016, the opening ceremony of Dwight’s new passenger rail station was held.  The new facility is located about one block southwest of the historic 1892 C&A depot.  The local historical society and chamber of commerce currently use the old depot.
