GP40TC's

The GP40TC was a passenger adaptation of a popular freight locomotive. They were built for GO (Toronto) trains in 1966. Amtrak bought some from GO in 1988 to provide additional power on long-distance trains. They have also been used on corridor trains and for switching. #192 south of Wilmington IL, June 1989.
