Detroit Toledo & Ironton Photos - Tim Vermande


DT&I

Henry Ford built DT&I to carry iron ore and coal from southern Ohio to his River Rogue plant. Although a heavily-used road around Detroit, its southern end has never had much traffic. Grand Trunk Western purchased it in 1980, and DT&I power immediately began to show up on GTW lines. GTW later sold the road to Indiana & Ohio. #207, June 1983.
