Illinois Terminal Photos - Tim Vermande
For the modeler who likes everything, IT had a lot to offer. The road had steam - diesel switching and freight lines, suburban trolleys and interurban traction. Like most interurbans that survived, the line was dieselized and lost its passenger service. It was later absorbed by Norfolk & Western. An interurban car, #104, at National Museum of Transportation, St. Louis in May 1988.
