are running again on the Layout
The
layout improvements for the month of
March 2009 are complete. Trains are now
able to run on the new track on the lower
level and on the rest of the layout. Stop
by on the 2nd
or 4th
Fridays of the month and run a train on
the new track and bridges.

Valley
Model Railroaders will have a portable
layout at the DuPage Train show. The
layout is HO scale, runs DCC (digital
command control), and has working
signals. The public is welcome to run
trains on the layout. Also the club can
assist you with programming and testing
your new HO DCC equipment. For more

Scouts and
other group Events
The
Valley Model Railroad Club opens
their doors to Scouts,
Children’s Clubs and Church
groups. Participants get a tour
of the history of the building,
build a model train car kit, and
operate a train on the clubs
layout using DCC. The event can
also be customized for boy scouts
to earn the railroading merit
badge. For more information about
