Didn't get a whole lot accomplished over the weekend.  Bought a sheet of luan to finish the enginehouse and some gondolas with.  Worked on the interchange track a bit.  Found that the boxcar I was using kept derailing, and i thought that it was due to track needing maintenance.  Then I noticed that it was the same truck amd same wheelset that kept derailing, no matter its orientation.  Investigation revealed that the one wheelset was slighltly out of gauge.  Once that was corrected, no more problems.

Beleive today I will concentrate on getting some much needed webpage updates done.

Have had some really nice weather this week, too bad I've not been able to get outside snd do anything.  Continue to do webpage updates, slowly getting caught up.  Got two days off coming this weekend, not sure what to schedule, but I really want to get something accomplished.  The enginehouse has languished far too long.

I need a quick and dirty project to get my enthusiasim back up.  Just can't get interested in working on anything as of late.  Just realized this morning that I have to leave Sunday afternoon to be gone til next Friday for an inservice that I've already had twice, so I better make Friday and Saturday count.

Perhaps I'll work on retrofitting the flatcars into gons.  I think I'll take some soda can material and th crimper with me and make roofing material for the engine house during the freetime.

I ordered a miniature table saw from Harbor Freight yesterday.  $59 with shipping, should arrive before I get back next Friday.  Looks as if it will be good for cutting small strips once I make a zero clearance throat plate for it.

Beleive I'll build a covered storage area adjacent to The Shop next spring.  It will be 2' x 12' and hold about 27 cars.  Plan on using 4 12' PT 2x6s grooved out for flangeways for the bottom, and regular 1/2 " plywood for the walls.  Paint it with a good exterior grade latex and get some sort of waterproof roofing

Got out in The  Shop today and worked on some flatcar conversions.  Turned a total of three flats into gons.  That means the coal hauling fleet doubled in one day.
