On Wednesday the 23rd, the crew got a jump on this years work by empting a lot of unnecessary (junk) items from the baggage car. Fran Hogencamp's future son in law dropped a dumpster off close to the car and we filled about half of it! We're going back for more as soon as Fran brings his tractor to lift the heavier items. Now the car is so much roomier inside and we're not done yet. We can't wait to see it painted inside and loaded with displays, parked up against the platform at the freight house. We're hoping to have the doors at each end of the car open so visitors can enter one end of the car, walk through it, looking at displays, and exit the door at the other end of the car back onto the platform.

Work sessions will continue every Saturday morning from 9:00am to noon.

As summer approaches, so do routine chores that keep the Depot so attractive. We have plenty of low stress jobs for anyone interested in helping out. Please call our number, (716)-662-7002, and let us know you are coming.
