WNYRHS WINTER TRAIN AND TOY SHOW 2013

22nd Annual WNYRHS Winter
Train & Toy Show 2013 Review

The weekend weather of February 16th and 17th, 2013 was a great weekend for our 22st Annual Winter Train and Toy Show! We had over 417 tables set up in two buildings! Almost 6000 adults and children came through the doors of the Events Center over the two days making this another very successful show!

The dealers sold a ton of stuff and almost all gave the show rave reviews. Thank You to all who were able to attend and as always, there were plenty of things to see and do for the entire family! The kids were able to play in the Thomas the Tank play area and we had six great operating layouts from the WNY Model Engineers (O Scale), Niagara Orleans Model Engineers (N & HO Scale), WNY Garden Railway Society (G Scale), Gowanda & Buffalo Model Railroad Club (N Scale) and the Flower City Tinplate Trackers (O Scale). They had trains running all day and the "rope line" had kids young and old remembering how cool it is to have a train set! There were also displays from the Lower Lakes Marine Historical Society, WNYRHS, Buffalo Model Boat Club, Model RR Club of Buffalo, NT Miniature Entusiasts, Buffalo Regional Doll Club, Central Terminal Restoration Corporation, Niagara Frontier NRHS and WNY Live Steamers.

WIVB Channel 4 sent one of their reporters to the show on Saturday and made this great feature spot for the show that aired four times over the weekend. Thank You Channel 4!
