The club is located in the beautiful botanical gardens above the carpark. WWSME was form in 1983 with less than 100m track and 20c rides . we have been running on the site for 27years we have grown to today we have 2.7 km of main line track and another 700m spiral loop in construction With the help of our members we have a very good signaling system, track ,gardens and buildings on this site. the club runs two scales of loco 5" and 7 1/4" in all sizes . the club owns 4 locos and many riding cars. with other locos run by our members on our run days special events On February 25 the club will be a part of the queens baton relay of the commonwealth game 2006 we will be transporting the baton from the station to the museum station at 7.30am |
