 From the B&O to the Whitewater Valley Railroad

  This web page will be used to document the rebuilding of Baltimore and Ohio I-5 Caboose #1902  This restoration is a project being conducted on the Whitewater  Valley Railroad in Connersville, Indiana. This site will include photos of the project as it progresses as well as the history of this car.  When this car is completed it will serve the railroad on many of it's excursions including the All Caboose Train during our annual "Day out with Thomas" event in late June. Please check back often for updates and to see how we are progressing. Any information you may have on this caboose during its days on the B&O would be welcome. Part of the restoration has included reconstructing the original B&O I-5 Caboose drawings. Copies of these drawings in full size will be offered here to help with the restoration costs.
