Built in July 1975 as an Amcafe with 51 coach seats on either side of the snack bar and numbered 20002. Trainline-equipped for push-pull service in July 1986 and renumbered 43002. Coach seats removed and replaced with 18 club seats and 6 four-place booths in June 2004 and renumbered 48171. This car also operated on the west coast and at one time was named "City of San Clemente" as evidenced by the large stainless steel plate above the numberboard in the center of the car.
