Railfanning At Attridge Road - North Chili, NY

My first stop this year on my Rochester Area Railfanning Day would be Attridge Road in North Chili, NY. This crossing is located just west of CP-382 where the CSX West Shore Sub (Former Conrail West Shore Branch) meets up with the CSX Rochester Sub (Former Conrail Chicago Line). The crossing has a large area of land where you can from a safe distance park your car and do some good railfanning. I would spend a little over an hour here before moving to my next stop. Included here are photos of trains I saw during my visit, enjoy...
The first train today would be CSX Train Q-640 with GE C40-8W #7318 leading, this is a former Conrail unit.

Next up is Amtrak Train #48 - The Lake Shore Limited with GE P42DC #186 on the head end.

CSX Work Train W-013 is next with EMD SD50-2 #2488 with dual air conditioners on the roof! This unit began its life
as an SD50 whose employer was Conrail.

Another view of the same train which normally carries welded rail.

Next up is eastbound CSX Train Q-004 with GE ES44AH #783 leading.

Here we have westbound CSX Train Q-157 crossing Attridge Road with GE ES40DC #5480 on the head end.

Next up is CSX Train K-252 with GE C40-8W #7386 leading which is also a former Conrail unit.

And the final train today at Attridge Road would be CSX Train Q-009 with GE ES44AH #941 on the head end.
Let's hop on I-490 now and head out to Fairport, east of Rochester!
