"Go-Loco" Engine Ride Photos: Gourmet Express Lunch Ride To Napa
This would be the car I would ride back to Napa in, #1015 "Le Petit Gourmet" which features the Gourmet Express Lunch.

The place setting inside Dining Car #1015 - "Le Petit Gourmet", and that crusty bread they serve with your meal is out of this world delicious!!!

The First Course: A Baby Lettuce Salad with candied walnuts and smoked goat cheese in a honey cider vinaigrette.

The Main Course: Grilled Breast of Chicken in a mushroom, garlic and Merlot sauce with fresh herbs and shaved parmesan. Lunch also included a
taste of the Wine Train's own label Chardonnay from the Raymond Vineyard in Napa Valley. Lunch was absolutely delicious!

These beautiful flowers lined every table in the car.

More beautiful palm trees near the Beaulieu Vineyards wine tasting room in Rutherford.

Another beautiful day in Napa Valley!

Very interesting trees outside the Peju Province Winery in Rutherford.

A couple big palm trees at the St. Supery Estate Vineyards & Winery in Rutherford.

A view of the Evensen Vineyards & Winery in Oakville.

Passing the Turnbull Wine Cellars at Oakville.

Passing the Nickel & Nickel Winery.

The Opus One Winery, also in Oakville, nice building!

Dessert: Chocolate Tiramisu! A great way to end a delicious meal!

What a view of the valley from the house at the top of that hill!!!

I just needed some proof I was here!!!

Now I'm gonna hang out on the platform outside the Chardonnay Lounge for a bit, what a view!!!

Crossing a dry creek bed, getting back over towards Napa. The conductor on the train told me after the recent earthquake that struck near this area,
some of the dry creeks ended up having water in them again!

I never thought fall colors on a vineyard would look so interesting!!! This area is known as the Oak Knoll District.

Now having crossed Wine Country Avenue in the far distance in this photo, we're back within the Napa city limits.

I always liked the railroad cars used as billboards!!!

Crossing over Route 29 which is now a freeway as we head back to Napa.

The crossing at California Boulevard in Napa, after crossing over Route 29.

Now back at Napa Station after a perfect run!

Another view of the train from the crossing at 1st Street in Napa, shortly before heading into the yard for servicing for the next train which
leaves Napa for another round trip later tonight.

The Chardonnay Lounge brings up the markers on this beautiful train.
