| Welcome to Yountville, CA. |
| |
|
The Wine Train has a station marked by a former Southern Pacific Bay-Window caboose. Some trains stop here as part of a tour package offered
with the Domain Chandon Winery whose vineyards are located behind and beyond the station grounds.

Grape plants at times do need to be dug up and replanted every so many years, as evidenced by this empty piece of land at Beaulieu Vineyards.
I can only imagine how much that dirt is worth in dollars considering grapes that make some of the finest wines on earth are grown in it!
|
| |
|
| New grapevines can be seen behind the Beaulieu Vineyards sign. |
| |
|
| Welcome to Rutherford, CA. |
| |
|
The varied different types of trees you see here along with the vineyards showing the autumnal foliage, in addition to warm but
not unbearably high temperatures
make this a beautiful time of year to visit Napa Valley. |
| |
|
| The Neal Family Vineyards have lots of new grapevines! You can see more established vines in the background. |
