This was my second visit to Amsterdam, NY to go railfanning. I also would spend some time at the Albany-Rensselaer Amtrak Station railfanning some more before riding The Lake Shore Limited to Sandusky, OH to go to Cedar Point on vacation...

My first Amtrak Trip of the new millennium! I decided that a trip back to Syracuse would be cool as I would be able to use the On-Track Train Service which runs with old Budd RDC's. I also was able to shop a little in the Carousel Center as well.
