Line 2719 was built by American Locomotive Works (Alco) in 1923.
Although it's regular service life ended by 1954, it did see some
excursion service in 1959. From 1960 to 1996 it was displayed in
a city park in Eau Claire, WI. After restoration, it saw
excursion use in the upper midwest until 2002. A planned storage
at Livingston, MT, fell through and the locomotive may end up at the
Lake Superior RR Museum in Duluth, MN, with possible excusion service
between Duluth and Two Harbors, MN, in late 2005.
