Trains - Farmrail
Farmrail is actually two distinct railroads, Farmrail (FMRC) and Grainbelt (GNBC). Trackage is former Rock Island, Santa Fe, and Frisco; now owned by the Oklahoma Department of Transportation. Farmrail is the designated operator under a long-term lease agreement. Headquarters and locomotive serving is at Clinton, OK, in west central Oklahoma. They interchange with BNSF at Enid, OK, to the north and Snyder, OK, at the south. As one might expect, their primary cargo is grain.
