The Port of Tillamook Bay Railroad (POTB) operates 95 miles of former Southern Pacific trackage in northwest Oregon since 1989.  They have a fleet of 15 SD-9 locomotives and two GP-9's.  POTB primarily serves the timber industry on Oregon's NW coast and was featured in August 2005 TRAINS. 
POTB incurred devastating flood damage ($26.6 million) in Dec 2007 and is looking options to restore service between Portland and the Pacific coast.
