The Pend Oreille (Pond-or-ray) Valley Railroad (POVA) operates 60-80
miles of trackage formerly owned by the
Milwaukee Road between Sandpoint, Id, and Newport, WA. Most of their
trackage is on the scenic north shore of the Pend Oreille River.
POVA's main cargo's are forest products, newsprint, and cement.
