Heading directly into the setting sun with a west bound manifest.

   Back in Garfield I stopped at the junction of the Shafter and Lyndyll Sub which can be seen here. The summer grasses were turning brown and except for the darn power lines the area has actually got some potential. A little elevation would really help. I'll have to bring my ladder along to this spot next time.

    Believing that most of the action was over and feeling good about how much I had caught in the past few hours I headed back into town to see what I could find before the sun went down.
