INTERFACE REQUIRED: Straight track section lay beside the barrel loader platform with about 1/2 inch clearance between base and ties. A standard gondola is typically used for the receiving car. 

ACTION PERFORMED: Forklift driver backs away from gondola, does a U-turn and heads for the ramp holding the barrels. when he gets there he slows down and "slides his forks" under the barrel that is being turned to sit on his forks. When the barrel is in place the driver backs up makes another U-turn and heads for the gondola. Upon arriving at the gondola he slows down and the barrel is dropped into the awaiting open freight car. He then heads back for another barrel.
