Former Southern Pacific f-7's 6378 and 6380 were finally
delivered to the Golden Gate Railroad Museum in San Francisco, Ca on May
5th, 2000. More info on where they've been for the last 30 years can be
found here. The purpose of this page is simply to display some detail
images of the units as they arrived at the museum. More info on GGRM can
be found at their website. More photos
and information will be added in the future.

Side view of 6378.
Close up of very strange headlight arrangement. Old SP number outline
barely visible under top headlight.
Delivery tag for 6378.
Old L&NW number (46) blacked out. If you look closely you can
just barely make out the outline of the old SP number.
Headlight are covered with plywood.
Blacked out L&NW #45. Again, you can just barely make out the
outline of old SP number.
Trailing truck on 6380. Looks like it ran into some problems on
the way out here.
All photos above taken on 5/6/00.
