PARLIN, COLORADO
Sept 2007//GMSep 2007//GM

The track follows the serpentine Tomichi Creek, into Parlin, just 12 miles from Gunnison. A pleasant meadow country bordered by sagy hills, checkered with ranches, and fascinating for the trout fisher and the hunter. The station serves as a sportsmen's outfitting place. Earlier, Parlin was spelled as "Parlins", with the "s" dropped sometime in the early 1900s.
