Glen Interlocking Tower, Westmount, Quebec.
Near Westmount station, Glen Yard and Shops.

G3g 2408 and suburban train eastbound with morning commuters at the tower while tail-end is at Westmount station.

There were four tracks in front of the tower, and at that point there was a jog in their alignment (apparently to make room for the tower and the station platform on the north side of Glen arch). The jog makes it look like the train is on a crossover.

The tracks from the north were outbound track, inbound track, South Independent Lead (to Windsor Station), and an additional yard lead which began just east of the tower and connected with storage track south of the loop track. The crossover visible next to the engine was between the two lead tracks. The train must therefore be on the inbound track. The outbound track is hard to see but is just visible.

Lining up a reverse move on either main track would require coordination between Glen and Windsor Station towers. The third track (independent lead) was bidirectional under control of a Traffic Lever in each tower. The main tracks didn't have this. All three tracks got bidirectional signals in 1971 when Windsor Station tracks were reconfigured.
