SRY Rail Link 001 slug converted 2005 from 7935 (below). GP9 122 is mother. Assigned to New Westminster yard.
Note: Two ex ICG GP10's were also acquired for conversion (on hold) to 002 and 003.
Later, these two units were traded to a dealer (for scrap) for a slug (below) that was quickly repainted.

Only unit of this model in Canada. Follow up orders were for two (12/72) and then one SD38-2 units. All were built by EMD.
NAR was the only other railway to order SD38's (four SD38-2) and they too were built by EMD.
