locomotive (Rogers 1883) on Canadian Pacific roster, American 136, experienced
indigestion from combination of poor coal and 111.6-mile round trip. At
Inglewood fireman and superintendent, (sic. N.S.Perkins, General Locomotive
Foremen, Lambton Locomotive Department; and Peter Fairfull, Fireman) open
smokebox door preparatory to shovelling out overdose of flyash, a procedure
which had to be repeated twice more en route. The smokebox glowed red in
