The private car National
Forum, owned by the Pacific Railroad Society
was available for tours. She had been brought in by Union Pacific
from somewhere in Southern California.
National Forum is an ex-UP Pullman sleeper car.
The below views are just a portion of the Colton Yard. It
stretches for several miles.
Below right, the tower is just above the hump. The locomtives in
the photograph will stop to pick up two more crew members.
One gets on on the front of the lead unit and the other is stationed on
the rear engine.
