Trains-are-a-running
Every Wednesday and Saturday 10am til 3:30pm up to 22 model trains can be found running at the Shore Mall.
We are located across from the DMV and near the Children's Museum. A big red "Train" sign is over our door.
Visitors can enjoy the layouts free of charge.
To give the children something to "touch", Thomas the Tank is a hands-on-layout with a neighborhood full of interesting items.
Children may turn on lights and operate train whistles & bells.
Two model train clubs, the South Jersey Garden Railroad Society and the Atlantic Shore Model Railroaders volunteer to run trains and
answer train questions.
Holiday decorations and Department 56 buildings and animated skaters and skiers bring a smile and memories to everyone who comes in.
Seats are available for adults to relax while the children enjoy the trains.
School groups are welcome.
