Although the body is made in plastic, the frame and bolsters are made of Zamac to help add weight. Don is also working on a small problem with the movable unloading doors on the two-bay hopper. The material that forms the hinges is too fragile. Don is working on beefing up the design.
A thought comes to mind - what would be neat is a way to automate opening the doors on the layout. . .Oh, to have another operating piece of rolling stock!!
