Every layout needs a fuel depot - why else would you run tank cars?? |
Greg Berndtson - The fuel depot was built using a Walther's HO kit. The loading/unloading rack was raised a bit to fit 'S' sized cars. This scene was modeled after the real Curran and Burton in Providence RI, where my Dad worked. C&B was an industrial oil distributor that received oil from tanker ships.
