"Rogers Pass Disaster"
Announced 02 February 1899

At Rogers Pass in the Selkirk Mountains on the mainline
of the Canadian Pacific Railway, on this instant, the
station and roundhouse of the company were swept away by
a snowslide, and the station agent, his family and three 
other persons, seven in all, were killed.
