"Telegraph Rates To The Yukon"
Announced 01 April 1900

	The Great Northwestern Telegraph Company has definitely completed
	its arrangements with the Dominion Government of Canada for
	transmission of all cable and press and commercial despatches
	to and from all points along the Yukon circuit.

	The rate from Victoria, British Columbia on cablegrams is set
	at 33 cents per word; press despatches are four cents per word,
	and commercial despatches will also be four cents per word.  A
	minimum charge of $2.50 will be applied in the case of press
	despatches.
