Article Sixty-Six - Announced: 12 July 1905 Newfoundland Cable


More good news for communications in Newfoundland!  The Commercial Cable Company has agreed
to lay an additional 200 miles of deep sea cable for the Colonial Government.  This cable will
will connect Canso, Nova Scotia with the rest of the world.  Laying of the cable will
commence in a few short weeks and will be completed by September.
