	Alexander MacNaughton, well known telegraph operator in Montreal, died
	on November the first, aged seventy-one years of age.  Mr MacNaughton was
	one of this countries oldest telegraph employees. He operated the
	commercial key for the Great North Western Telegraph Company.  He had first
	started when he was a mere thirteen years of age.
