Article Ninety
Announced 06 July 1911
A conference of the principal officials and local managers of the Great North Western
Telegraph Company was held at Toronto, Ontario on June 27 and June 28.  A number of
intensive matters in reference to the service of the company were discussed. Mr George
Perry, General Manager, presided. 

Amongst those present were Messrs. SB McMichael and DE Henry of the general manager's department; AC McConnell, Secretary and Auditor; WJ Duckworth, Superintendent of Construction; AR Porte, Superintendent, Ogdensburg, and the managers George Hogarth, Toronto, LS Humes, Montreal, CE Davies, Ottawa, CE Lillie, Quebec, J Padington, Winnipeg, J Jamieson, Hamilton, D Adams, London, and CE McManus, Circuit Manager, Toronto.

It was felt by those present that a great deal of benefit would result from the discussions, which were carried on in a most harmonious manner. The General Manager entertained the party for dinner at the Royal Canadian Yacht Club, Toronto Island, and a most enjoyable evening was spent by all in attendance.
