Station Improvement:
Florida DOT constructed the Miami Intermodal Center (MIC) near the Miami International Airport. It was designed to bring Amtrak, Tri-Rail, Metro Rail, car rentals, and other transportation services together in one location, connected to the Miami International Airport by people mover. New platforms and ticket offices for Amtrak were build; however, Amtrak has not moved to new location yet.
