Amtrak started service to Laguna Niguel - Mission Viejo Station on November 1, 2007.  This station was not new because Metrolink had been using this station.  Since 2012 Fall, Amtrak Pacific Surfliner has no longer stopped.  Currently only Metrolink (commuter train) stops at this station.
