Spring - Summer
The Williamsville Depot Crew
has put together a very ambitious
schedule of Events for 2023.
Attached are the two pages of
activities planned for the Spring
all the way to early Winter. Feel
free to print out a copy of both
pages to plan your visits.

Summer - Fall

June 2023

June 25 - Lehigh Valley Locomotive #252 received an official welcome to the Village of Williamsville today! This authentic Lehigh Valley Railroad locomotive was generously donated by Greenidge Generation of Dresden, New York to the WNYRHS in 2021. After its recent restoration, it now sits on static display at the Williamsville Depot Historic Site Museum, 86 S. Long Street, for all to admire and enjoy.

Thank you to all devoted volunteers of the Western New York Railway Historical Society, Village of Williamsville officials and Committee Chairman, Marty Visciano and all of the Depot crew, for sharing your love of the railroad with the Village of Williamsville. Thanks Joe Kocsis for all of your great photos!

June 17 - On Saturday, the Williamsville Depot hosted the 10 Lives Club "Cause for The Paws Pet Expo" Pet Rescue. There were vendors from all over Western New York including the Cattaraugus SPCA, Odins' Angels, Silver Linings Inc., Buffalo C.A.R.E.S Animal Rescue and Cat by Cat Inc. Everyone had so much fun at the event. Thank you to all the rescues and vendors for participating, we hope to see you again at next year's Expo!

June 2 & 3 - "Everybody Has Lots of Quirks." Marty Bauer brings human nature back to the stage in a hilarious look at our natural instincts. The Homewood Theater players presented "Everybody Has Lots of Quirks." at the Williamsville Depot. 7:30 pm, $8.00 adults, students $6.00. A encore perfomance will be held on the 9th and 10th.

June 4th - Joyce Haskell, local author Book Signing of the "The Tiny Tin Box." Free Admission.

Every Tuesday starting June 6th "Laughing Yoga" at the Depot at 11:00am, rain or shine, Free!.

May 2023

Tuesday, May 9th, "Volunteer Recruitment Night" at the Depot - 7:00pm - 8:30pm.

Thursday, Friday and Saturday May 18th, 19th & 20th - Our 3 Day "Garage Sale" at the Depot with a Chicken Bar-b-Que on Saturday.

April 2023

On Saturday, April 25th, the Williamsville Depot had a visit by 26 members of Rochester & Genesee Valley Railroad Museum. This was the first stop the group made enroute to three other sites in Western New York. Williamsville Depot Co-Chairman Marty Visciano was our tour host and thoroughly enjoyed showing off all the accomplishments of the Depot Crew. Reports from RGVRRM members were very positive and greatly impressed with the Depot and LV #252. A big Thank You! to RGVRRM President Otto Vondrak for sharing the photos below.



March 2023

Annual Williamsville Depot Spagetti Diner
Saturday March 25th, 2023.
4:00pm - 6:00pm At the
Cleveland Heights Christian Church.
4775 Union Road, Cheektowaga, NY.
All the Spagetti you can eat
2 meatballs, bread, butter
coffee, tea, or milk and a dessert
50/50 Raffle
$12.00 Adults, Child 6 - 12 $6.00.


On Saturday and Sunday, March 28th and 29th, 2023. Vintage Costume Jewelry Sale
at the Williamsville Lehigh Valley Depot. 100's of items to choose from at very reasonable
prices! Necklaces, bracelets,rings, etc. Event sponsored by the Homewood Theater Group.
Proceeds will benefit the continued restoration of the Williamsville Depot.
Free Admission. 12:00pm - 5:00pm both days.
