We want to thank all those who braved the cold to come out to the Hamburg Fairgrounds to attend our 24th annual Winter Train & Toy Show. While the dealers reported good sales, the Travel Advisory certainly affected the gate attendance. Over the two days, just under 2,800 people came through the doors which is half of the normal show attendance. We had four great operating layouts from the Niagara Orleans Model Engineers (N Scale), WNY Garden Railway Society (G Scale), Gowanda & Buffalo Model Railroad Club (N Scale) and the Flower City Tinplate Trackers (O Scale). | With the cancelation of our November Show due to the 84" from the Snovember Storm, and this weekend's extreme cold, we couldn't catch a break. For the first time in 30 years of running these shows, both the November and February shows were adversely affected by the weather. Oh well...we'll start looking forward to this November. Again, Thanks to all our friends that came out this weekend and hope you found some great bargains. Below are some of the great organizations and dealers that make our shows such a good time. We hope you enjoyed yourself and that we will see you November 21st and 22nd, 2015! |
