The Western New York Railway Historical Society proudly presents Milwaukee Road #261: A Celebration of Steam on the Buffalo & Pittsburg Railroad. On June 15, 1996, the former Milwaukee, St.Paul & Pacific Railroad's, Class S-3 #261 made a brief historic visit to our Orchard Pak, New York railroad depot in conjunction with the village of Orchard Park's Diamond Jubilee. The #261 was returning to Minneapolis after a year-long stay at Steamtown, in Scranton, Pennsylvania. For those who came to inspect this magnificently restored steam locomotive at the depot, or saw it in action, this video has captured many of those sights and sounds. Narrated, pacing shots, grade crossings and maps.
