Kalamazoo under repair January 2002

The Kalamazoo jigger under restoration in the Railway workshop. The jigger was constructed by longtime member Ian Fisher in the 1960s and is a replica of an old style of hand jigger formerly used on NZ Railways. As the favourite of workers and visitors alike it travels the most mileage of any of our jiggers and is presently being prepared for a "trolleython " in March. The handles are visible at left. January 2002.
