Ex-vice regal car A 1825 is to be jacked up off its bogies in about 2 weeks. The bogies on it are needed by Tranz Rail and it will be placed on temporary bogies. The car will need modifications to the replacement bogies in order to restore the correct height.

Drainage work has been completed in front of the carriage shed. New drainpipes have been installed on the spouting.

Weed trimming operations have been carried out at Ferrymead Station and some of the area between the carriage shed and branch has been cleared as part of a pre-Easter tidyup.

A track lubricator is to be fitted to the curve at the entrance of Ferrymead Station to reduce wear on track and rolling stock passing through this curve.

Carriage A 463 left Ferrymead on March 28th. It travelled by road to Mandeville, as we have leased it to the Croydon Aircraft Company, owners of K 92.
