The delivery of our new four wheel wagons is still in the pipeline. Between four and six wagons currently at Linwood Loco were offered to us some weeks ago.

Price CB 113 is in the workshop having its annual survey. The boiler inspector has paid a visit and some work has been done on bearings.

X 442 has been moved out of the locomotive shelter and placed near the workshop to have further inspections and work done before its departure. The coupling between the locomotive and tender is to be tested. As yet no date has been indicated for it to leave the site. DG 772 has been put under cover in the shelter.

20 foot vans F 78 and F 79 are now complete and have left the workshop. LB 4803 has been put into the workshop for painting. L 1939 is being tidied in advance of a possible overhaul at some later time. F 2482 has been moved from the end of our main line to the front of the workshop to be put on its new bogies. A 1825 is also to have its bogies changed soon. E 2107 (L 802) is being emptied for possible overhaul. D 26 has had the side panelling removed and the floor lifted. Painting of XB 2105 continues. Work has begun to close in the doorway at the rear of the carriage shed. We are tidying some of the stored items inside.

The plumber has been hard at work removing toilets and fittings from the old men's toilets in Moorhouse Station, which we are taking over for our operational requirements.

The Broomwade compressor has been overhauled for use on trackwork. Other track plant will also be serviced as needed.

A shunting school is to be held on site on the 30th June.

The Signals branch is laying cable ducting near Moorhouse signalbox.

X 442 in the Moorhouse yard. It now resides in front of the carriage shed. June 2001.

F 2482 in May 2000. It is now in front of the workshop for overhaul.
