The repairs to No.7 points at Moorhouse were completed and this has allowed locomotive hauled trains to be used on passenger services again.

A parts supplier in Denmark has been approached to get pricing for new big end bearing shells for RM 51's engine. Another options is to have the shells remetalled locally. Our team has been preparing rail for an order to supply fenceposts to Orana Park. This will give our funds a much needed boost.

On the 8th we hired a crane to shift a number of items. Two Fairlie steam bogies were placed on the track behind the locomotive shelter for display. The spare bogies for A 1825 were unloaded from a wagon for storage beside the running shed. The double slip was lifted off the UB wagon onto the ground beside the store shed (a heavy load with the main part weighed at 10 tons). The overhead crane which has been stored in front of the Cooperage function centre for many years was lifted onto a wagon and taken down to the workshop where it was offloaded for storage beside the workshop. The D boiler was also lifted onto a wagon.

Ballast has been delivered and loaded into the YB wagon for ploughing out.

The heap of dirt in front of Road 6 of the carriage shed has been shifted. A start has been made on clearing the weeds behind the carriage shed.

The old ticket sellers hut used by the signals branch has been removed from in front of the locomotive shelter. The track is to be extended a short distance to allow more storage there.

Tidy up of the yard continues and the three way turnout parts have been removed. Also the weeds around the old overhead crane beam have been cleared.

The electric railway section have put up more poles for the overhead.
